Hey guys-

Just trying to get things started here, and noticed that we haven't been getting a ton of feedback on the magazine lately. What does everybody think of the September issue? The ’63 Impala cove car with the ’60 Plymouth top has been getting a ton of attention and buzz this summer. We dig it — what about everyone out there in readerland?

C'mon guys, talk to us here — good, bad or indifferent. We're waiting to hear from you.....

I think the '63 Impala on the cover is a great car. It looks great with the Plymouth top and I think it took some thought to come up with the  idea for the mixing of the two cars.

I thought the last few issues have been killer. My blood is on the traditional Kustom side. I don't think that you have to have white walls on a car to be considered a kustom.  The past issue with the 55's on the cover was a great example.  The '55 on the cover was chopped and with Stude headlight buckets blew my mind.  I was on the HAMB an asked is this considered a Kustom?  Most of them said that it had to have White walls to be considered a kustom.  I let them go for a while, then I asked the next question.  Was Cadzilla considered a Kustom?  For some reason they all got quit.

Great job on the Mag and I hope this forum picks up for you.  I'll be checking in on a daily basis.

Happy Trails,

Mick

Thanks Mick,
We appreciate your view. We also like your ability to keep the HAMB'ers thinking.
Good job,

Nick L.

I really like the '63 Impala.  I never thought in my wildest dreams that you would ever be able to mate the top of a '60 Plymouth to a '63 Impala.  Do you by any chance have a calendar of events where this car will be?  I'd really like to see it in person.

I really like this magazine, it's one of my favorites.

thanks.

i love the riviera on the cover of the november issue, not to sure what to think on the 50 chevy, i like everything about it besides the mercedes lights up front, they just dont quite fit the lines or the curves of the body

Yes I agree the Rivi is a very nice ride.  The mercedes headlights on the 50 chev are different for that car, but, you'd have to see that car in person to get the full affect.  He was at the Good Guys 1st annual in Nashville and also made it to the NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, Ky.  Hopefully you'll get to see it in person...makes a big difference from seeing it in print to seeing it in the "flesh"

That seems to be the case on many occasions, but we try to capture these cars in the best light in order to make them look as good as in person. Our goal is to make them look better than in person.
I like to think mission accomplished, but some cars are so awesome there is no way to improve on them in any light.
