Now your starting to think like a gearhead customizer. Maybe even headers on the sides for good measure? That would be cool   . The Comet is ready for Yellow so Wed. evening it will change from primer to yellow and by next week the red and clear will go on
At that point 1 down and 3 to go WOW!

Haha dang 3 to go after the comet. I wish i had that kind of dilemma. which car to work on first

Sounds like you have a hard decision to make, Just kidding. Although if i had 4 cars to work on i wouldnt know which one i want to do first.

Yeah my wife and I decided on the 54 for the next since it's the closest to being done after the Comet. The weather turned to crap again here so it has slowed me down by a couple of days so it looks like I'm not going to be putting the yellow on until Saturday. The forcast for next week looks better it's supposed to be in the 40's so that makes things nicer to get around to do sruff.
My wife is not looking to forward to after the yellow is on because that means more wet sanding, but at least this is easier that blocking and a lot less dusty.

That weather is such a pain huh. Its always changing quickly. Its crazy warm here right now but just the other day it was pouring rain.

Im sure the wife is excited it means her car is going to be closer to being done the sooner you finish the comet

She is excited because she does like the way the 54 rides, the Comet is stiffer and does not take the bumps quite as smooth. I didn't get back to you yesterday because the weather was bad enough I ended up cleaning out my drive then went to Dad's and did his and by the itme I was done I was pooped. I am going to put the yellow on tomorrow, they say the temp should be close to 40, we'll see. Today is only in the low 20's BURR!!!

Wow talk about screwed up weather today we are at 61 tonight down to 28 with freezing rain and snow and the low 30's with snow until Friday ICK. I was nor able to spray the car Saturday it snowed again. So I'm going to try it tonight seeing as how it is nice. Ma nature is teasing us, not nice man. Oh well spring is just around the corner. I will take pic's and send them as soon as I can do something except shovel snow.

I hadn't thought of that I should have taken a picture and sent you it. Today we missed the freezing rain but we are getting a lot of rain on top of the snow so now we are facing the flood issue. That's the wild part of living in Ohio you never know what your going to get day to day weather wise this time of year. One would think after 54 years of dealing with it you would get used to it but that just doesn't seem to happen, at least not in my case.
The great part around here is the spring, summer and fall because it changes so much and it is beautiful. The next time it snows I'll take some pic's for you.

I like in Northeastern Ohio. I am about 45 minutes south of Youngstown and about 20 minutes east of Akron, where the football hall of fame is. All that's about an hour south of Cleveland.
I was born here and have lived here all my life except for 2 years 1975 and 1976 when I lived in Clearwater Florida.
I wish a lot of times I would have stayed there but all my family lives here so here I am. It's really not all that bad here except for winter and that's mainly because I'm not a winter person anymore. I used to like to skimobiling but I have a few too many other things happen to me that now my back just doesn't care for the bouncing anymore.
I am shooting for this Saturday to put the Yellow on, the forcast is for mid 40's and sun. Nice change.

Oh wow thats pretty cool, what made you move to Florida for that short time? I went there when i was in Jr high and it was fun. I plan on going back in a few years but we will see when i get there.

Random question but what grade is your son in again? Is he planning on going to college?

I like to snowboard but we don't get enough snow out here, we have all the man made stuff which is horrible.

Good luck with painting this weekend!

Josh is a sophmore. He is going to try to just go through technical school and take a job from there. The program he is starting next year offers job placement in his senior year if he continues with this field and the school says that 85% of the students that graduate are placed in permanent jobs if they want at the place they spent thier last 1/2 of the school year. They only go to the job site 3 times a week for on hands training by the people that work there. It is a job at local news stations and also TV stations and if he makes the grade they will finish the schooling he will need from there. HE has talked to a couple of the guys who went on working at these places after graduation and they love it. Some have moved on to other places but still do the same type of work.
