I don't know if you guys all heard but Boyd Coddington passed away today. They have yet to determine the cause of death. The poor guy was only 63.

RIP Boyd.

No I hadn't heard about that it is a shame. He had some great things he did as well as the cars. Was he sick or anything? They haven't had the show on for a while, from what I heard it had a lot to do with the firing of the girl they had there for a short while.
Another great customizer gone, He will be missed.

He has been in and out of the hospital from what i hear. They have not released the cause of death yet. It is a sad day in the world of customizing..

Man you know I think it is really sad that TLC nor any of the other networks have said about the passing of Boyd. I think he deserves a mention and some of his acclomplishments shown. He may not of been the idol car guy but you can't denigh the talent he had on designing nice looking customs. I haven't seen anyhting in the car books yet either but I suppose some are already done a couple months ahead. Has anything been released on what happened.

Yea it is pretty sad, I am sure the magazines will have something in them in the next issues.

He had a lot of people who were not too fond of him but I'm sure there will be something.
